Yelitza Cova is a communications professional, journalist and content specialist with experience in digital media, news writing, social media management, marketing and advertising.

Originally from Venezuela and now based in Australia, Yelitza studied Social Communication at Catholic University Andrés Bello. Her professional background includes producing informative content for digital news platforms, writing for recognised media organisations and managing social media communications and promotional content.

Yelitza combines journalistic discipline with creativity and a strong understanding of how communication can inform, engage and connect people. Her experience enables her to transform ideas and organisational information into clear, accessible and meaningful messages for diverse audiences.

In her Communications & Marketing role at Global Community Alliance Inc., Yelitza contributes to developing the organisation’s public voice and increasing awareness of its programs, services and community impact. Her responsibilities include supporting website content, newsletters, social media, event promotion, photography and community-focused storytelling.

Yelitza has already contributed to GCA’s communications activities by compiling and publishing community newsletters, gathering photographs from events and helping present organisational news and opportunities in an engaging format.

She is committed to using ethical and inclusive communication to strengthen GCA’s relationships with multicultural communities, partner organisations, volunteers and supporters. Through her work, Yelitza helps ensure that community stories are recognised, important information reaches the people who need it and GCA’s values are reflected consistently across its communications.
