Global Community Alliance Incorporated (GCA) is an Australian not-for-profit organisation connecting people, cultures and communities across Australia, Latin America and beyond.
We believe strong communities are built when people feel welcomed, respected and empowered to participate. Through volunteering, community leadership, education, cultural exchange and collaborative partnerships, we create opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to contribute, learn and thrive.
GCA works alongside multicultural communities, volunteers, community leaders, not-for-profit organisations, educational institutions, businesses and government agencies. Together, we develop inclusive initiatives that respond to community needs, strengthen local capacity and create meaningful connections across cultures and countries.
Our work particularly supports migrants, refugees, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, emerging leaders and people experiencing isolation or disadvantage. We are committed to delivering activities that are culturally safe, accessible, inclusive and guided by dignity, equality and mutual respect.

What We Do
- develop and support ethical, inclusive and accessible volunteer programs;
- strengthen community leadership through training, mentoring and practical experience;
- promote multicultural inclusion, belonging and intercultural understanding;
- facilitate community placements, service-learning and international volunteer exchanges;
- support migrants, refugees and culturally diverse communities through information, referrals and community connections;
- build the capacity of not-for-profit organisations, community groups and emerging leaders;
- create educational workshops, forums, cultural activities and community events;
- support communities affected by emergencies, disasters, displacement or humanitarian hardship; and
- develop partnerships that connect communities in Australia with organisations and networks internationally.
