Yane Perez de Brito leads the volunteering function at Global Community Alliance Inc. (GCA), bringing valuable experience in leadership, entrepreneurship, team engagement and motivating people to work towards shared goals.

Yane’s professional background includes serving as a Regional Vice President with ACN Pacific. She was also selected as a speaker for the organisation’s Elevate Sydney event, alongside other senior leaders from across the Pacific region. In her role at GCA, Yane supports the complete volunteer journey—from recruitment, applications and interviews through to screening, registration, induction, training, placement and ongoing engagement. She helps ensure that volunteers understand their responsibilities and have access to the information, guidance and support they need to contribute confidently.

Yane works with GCA’s management and service teams to match volunteers’ skills, interests and availability with suitable opportunities. She also contributes to volunteer records, attendance and service-hour monitoring, professional development, feedback, recognition and exit processes.

Her approach is centred on creating a welcoming, inclusive and culturally respectful volunteering environment. She values the unique experience and knowledge that every volunteer brings and encourages people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds to participate.

Through her leadership, Yane helps GCA develop a capable, connected and appreciated volunteer team. Her contribution supports the organisation’s sustainability while creating meaningful opportunities for people to develop skills, form community connections and make a positive difference.
